About Jean-Christophe Husson

Jean-Christophe Husson is a freelance photographer and director living in Paris.
He shoots portraits, reports for editorials and advertising, and behind-the-scenes for commercial and feature films 
« I photograph all kinds of people- from craftmen to actors, artists and executives, for magazines, advertising and corporations. I like to tell stories. »
Former art director and graphic designer Jean-Christophe challenges himself by constantly enlarging his knowledge and field of work. « A few years ago I was teaching in Art schools. I was teaching young graphic designers how to think out of the box. In that vein, I enabled myself to take acting and script writing classes. » When Jean-Christophe decided to focus on photography and film-making, he realized how much all these experiences enriched him.
« I realized that I needed to create or tell stories while keeping a link with my visual background. As a writer you have to observe, while as an actor you have to react to the moment ! Photography and film were a part of a natural evolution for me in the course of life. Looking back at my career, I feel that everything makes sense, mostly contributing to the building up the next step ! ».
As a photographer and filmmaker, Jean-Christophe works for luxe industry companies such as Coty prestige and LVMH. He is also developing ongoing projects, including fiction and documentary films for TV and cinema.
